Tagliatelle with bacon

Brilliant way how simple, yet skillfully prepare pasta. Here is delicious recipe for tagliatelle with bacon.


  • 400 g tagliatelle
  • 2 tablespoons salt (for cooking pasta)
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 bunch chives

Instead of bacon you can also cut into cubes pancetta or prosciutto.


  1. In a larger pot pour five liters of water and wait for the water to boil. Just before it boils, put in salt. In boiling salt water pour noodles (tagliatelle). Cover the pot, wait for the water to boil and uncover the pot. During cooking pasta occasional mixing to get a grip on the bottom. Pasta cook exactly the same time as indicated on the packaging. Cooked noodles drain well and pour into a large bowl.
  2. Wash and cut in half cherry tomatoes. Bacon cut into cubes or strips, then pour into the pan along with the tomatoes. Add a teaspoon of butter and fry until the bacon shrinks a little and tomatoes are fried (skin becomes loose). Prepare the plates.
  3. Your tagliatelle with bacon is ready. Divide pasta on plates and on them load bacon and tomatoes. Wash, shake and chop chives. Sprinkle it on the plates with the noodles. Serve immediately and add a glass of good wine.


  • Instead of chives, you can use parsley or basil. This dish can be also pepper to taste.
  • For more “saucy” bacon with tomatoes add a little more butter. The taste is divine, but it will add dish some more calories.
  • Instead of bacon you can also cut into cubes pancetta or prosciutto.
  • On the dish you can grate a little Parmesan cheese.
