Broccoli

Broccoli is subject to rapid loss of freshness, so it should be used as soon as possible. For long freshness keep it in the refrigerator, in an open container. Before storing in the refrigerator,put it into a damp cloth.

Carrot

To extend the freshness of carrots, cut off the tops. You can keep it in a closed container with plenty of moisture, or before placing it in the refrigerator, put it into a damp cloth. It is recommended that every few days, soak it  in cold water, then return it in a closed container in the refrigerator.

Celery

Celery leaves are extremely popular with cooks for preparing soups and sauces. And how to properly keep the celery? Make sure that its stems are still moist – that is, to keep it in a cup of water. If you want celery in refrigerator, wrap its stems  in aluminum foil. It will remain fresh for several weeks.

Garlic

Garlic is a kitchen essential ingredient for many dishes. It’s not recommended to store in the refrigerator, and not in plastic bags either. Nevertheless, make sure that you stored in a cool, dark place.

For onions also applies, that is kept in a cool, dark place, in an open container. In order to maintain the freshness is needed air circulation.

Mushrooms

Mushrooms store in the refrigerator, in the packaging in which you bought them. If you only need a few mushrooms, open the container only on one part, take the mushrooms, then re-close the container using plastic film.

Peppers
